Yardley Original by Yardley London, Originally launched in the 60’s and recently re-released, Yardley Original by Yardley of London is a classic men’s fragrance that speaks to a traditional yet contemporary aesthetic. The top notes are sparkling and rejuvenating, blending the sweetness of mandarin orange and bracing, bitter and aromatic bergamot with refreshing English lavender. This brisk opening quickly settles into a dynamic, sophisticated cinnamon and nutmeg heart, laced with lemon-and floral verbena. The dry down is a smooth lingering finish of tawny amber interfused with earthy patchouli and woody-floral musk tones.
First founded in 1770, Yardley of London is one of the longest-operating fragrance houses in the world. In addition to perfumes and colognes, the brand produces fine soaps, body washes, talcum powders and skin and hair care products in the English tradition, drawing inspiration from the countryside and nature. The house has received six Royal Warrants: proof of clients that are part of the British royal family.
